Zofia is the holder of an ESRC PhD Case Studentship (since January 2009). Her PhD is looking at the impact of the employment of temporary staff on the management of risk in a hospital, and the implications for patient safety and service quality. The project aims to increase knowledge and understanding of the relationship between the use of temporary staff and the management of risks to patient safety and service quality, and to recommend steps to minimise that risk.
Zofia’s background in primarily in Psychology, with a BA in Psychology, and an MSc in Occupational Psychology. Prior to the PSSQ Zofia worked as an assistant researcher at the Legal Services Research Centre.
