Biography:
Chris is a Research Associate in the Workforce Programme. He is working on a number of projects concerning workforce issues that are of relevance to healthcare quality. At present, these include studies examining workplace bullying and the use of formal workplace procedures in healthcare staff.
Chris’ academic background is in psychology applied to healthcare. Prior to joining King’s he worked as a researcher at the University of Oxford on a project examining decision making and information needs of patients and health professionals involved in cancer screening. Chris holds B.Sc. in psychology and an M.Sc. in Health psychology, and he is currently undertaking a Ph.D. in the department examining the links between organisational socialisation and service quality in the NHS.
